Opening of the second David Price Food Services Distribution Depot in South Kirkby (Doncaster), in order to service all of our Yorkshire customers and also to expand the chillnet partnership network |

Major development of the IT systems within David Price Food Services, enabling customers to perform online stock enquiries, online orders and online delivery requests. Also in association with the ChillNet Consortium we developed a system that would enable online transactions to be sent to each partner depot increasing the speed and efficiency of processing jobs. |

Continuation of development of the ChillNet Consortium, expanding our delivery destinations nationally on a day one for day two basis. |

With more and more trunking and cross docking facilities required through the night, further alterations were carried out on the existing loading dock to give additional cross docking facilities. |

The implementation of chilled distribution alongside the existing frozen distribution offering day one for day two distribution throughout the UK. This involved the requisition of multi-temperature trailers. |

A major expansion of the existing main chamber providing space for an extra 3000 pallets giving a total of 6000 pallet capacity. |
1991
When Albert Edward Dock was purchased for the Royal Quays, David Price Food Services was in the market for new premises.
With this in mind a new distribution coldstore was purpose built inclusive of mobile racking with a capacity for 3000 pallets and refrigerated loading dock on the new Silverlink Business Park in Wallsend. |
